Questions

Pale and perfect,

with hazel, brown eyes,

Why ever did you leave me,

You said, even after that you wanted me,

but you never took me back,

 

Tell me,

Were you just playing with my head?

Trying to make me feel more for you?

To sympathize for you?

If so, you've only hurt me,

 

"Why torture me?" I ask you,

"Why torture my fragile heart?"

"I cried for nothing,

Is that what your telling me?"

 

Never tell me things like that,

My friends were right weren't they,

Maybe I should just forget in general,

but to forget the sweet love I once knew--

That is preposterous,

but what else can I do?

And if you dont know how to answer,

 then why ever did you tell me,

 that one fateful day,

that you would answer all my questions.

it sucks how horribly inconciderate another human being can be to someone who doesnt deserve being hurt. the world is dark and rainy, but look up and remember that behing those gray foggy clouds there is a sun shining! you dont need that person that hurt you so badly. in the end you will be the one living a happy and free life, and they will be moving from one person to the next and when they think they have found someone they will screw it up. great poem, i dont think you could have said how bad your hurting any better

This is a truly terrific write. 'Preposterous' also happens to be on my list of favorite words which makes me fall in love further with a piece that I already thought was brilliant.
