Simple words that force me to respect,

hate, and miss.

 

Words that tear me inside.

Words that, even though make me cry,

make me somehow stronger.

Words, that I pretend dont hurt.

 

Smile, a crooked forced smile.

It sits upon your face.

It is a lie,

that smile,

 the smile you do not feel.

 

Nod, I nod my head in reply to signify I understand,

though I do not,

I lie,

I say that I comprehend.

But I do not.

 

You turn.

 

Steps.

Steps away,

 that tip-tap until they are too far to hear.

Steps that are the closing end to what I once held near.

This is the end of my Lovely Eyes section.:( Me and my bf broke up today.... he wants to just be friends (the dick) but ill be okay(... i hope) Ill just be bored out of my mind tomorrow cuz i was supposed to go out wit him so.... im free?!I wrote this about how it all went down, just leaving out wat he said because in my mind all the sounds in the world blanked out at the time and I was just standing there like a dope.

I like that it's vague. Oh, and he sounds like a dick. Who breaks up right before the weekend? I'll tell you who, a guy who either has another girl lined up or is doing it because his single friends told him to. I hope you kicked him in the jimmy. If not, you can borrow my baseball bat. It's aluminum...leaves no splinters behind and the blood washes of easier so...no evidence. ; )

I'm really sorry about your break up, but having guys as friends is awesome( I'm not into serious relationships, but that's just me).

I thought the poem carried a lot of depth and meaning, great job :]
