My first Acrostics of my, and my friends names.

My first Acrostics of my, and my friends names.

A Poem by Tara♥Undefined♥
"

I love my friends and each of these describe what my friend are to me!

"

Tuned into nature and into dreams.

Artistic beauty, like a setting sun.

Rainy days filled with kisses and smiles.

Arching rainbows over each crisp morning dew.

M arble eyes and molten candles

A fraid of nothing that's not worth fearing.

R olling eyes in a joking manner

Y elling rather than singing along to the music.

D.uh, the best friend ever!

I ll-mannered but still sweet.

S tarry-eyed and funny makes me laugh all the time.

S illy and smart, but not all that bright. (jk)

A ccidently clumsy and loud.

C razilly insane, and a little over the top.

M.aybe just about the greatest friend I've got.

Ok, so you know they are not haikus. Cool idea. I can tell it was fun for you to do this.

Lol, someone already pointed out that these are not haikus, but rather acrostics. Haikus can be very difficult to write well, because of the strict formatting, whereas the acrostic poem is probably one of the easiest structured poems.
Anyways, to the poem itself (whatever it may be called, haha). Firstly, you switched your punctuation formats. For Mary, you had a period on every other one, but on the first and last, you placed a period at the end of each line. Normally, this isn't an issue, but the inconsistency was kind of strange in this particular poem.
//S tarry-eyed and funny makes me laugh all the time.// This line did not flow, because unlike the others, it isn't a fragment. It's a run-on.
*Crazily =/=Crazilly.
//M.aybe just about the greatest friend I've got.// Pet peeve of mine - "I've got" is an idiom that makes me cringe inside. "I have" is both far more professional and clear.

ohh and Erin is right these are not Haikus, those are like 17 sylabble
(or something like that) things that sometimes talk about a season or something...remember...we did talk about them in class once last year...i think:) but again good job!!!

I'm thinking u meant to say acrostics, instead of hykiaus? (Sorry, s****y spelling). These are acrostics. And they are ADORABLE! You should share these with your friends. They will love them and get a kick out of them! I love the line about rainbows!!!! Isn't it fun to play with letters and words??? (I'm in the same mood tonight!)
