Letting Go isn't Easy

 

Sparkling dew and misty rain,

 leave me but I have no pain.

Sick of all this twisted rage.

 Can't I feel some pain again?

Crazy you would think.

It's true.

But what else have I to do?

Sit alone and sulk all day?

Don't you have something to say?

Anything? Anything at all?

Or are you lost too.

Don't you have any faults?

Looking around just because.

Am I who I thought I was?

Or am I more? Am I less?

Won't you speak? Oh please just guess.

At least just guess you haven't spoke.

I pour my soul out at your feet,

and still you stand,- refuse to speak.

Well I know one thing is true.

I could do much better if I let go of you.
