18th birthday

18th birthday

A Poem by MoE

Its my 18th birthday & look where I am,
I'm sitting in my snug corner alone & cold,
in deep thought thinking: "Damn,
when will my future really unfold?
Where will I be when I'm nineteen?
would I be single & will I ever see you again?"
It is the real world & my imagination is where my mind now wanders in between,
thinking of life, love, & so called 'men'.
I think of how today went and how I am now an adult,
I think of what who I wished for when I blew out my candles,
I imagine about the results,
and in hope that my wish wont be mishandled.
I know many think its foolish to hope on a wish of a candle or even a shooting star,
but hope is what makes a dreamer, a dreamer & what makes me love you too.
Right now, Life is amazing so far,
but I wonder how amazing life would be with you.
