Winter Days

Winter Days

A Poem by MoE

Every time  I step out of the warmth into the cold,
the wind kissing my skin with its chill.
Singing a song that is long untold,
about  a long journey  & one 'man's' goodwill.

I tightened my coat's belt around my waist,
 listening to the old story.
Jotting down a couple notes in haste,
thinking of all of that one 'many's' glory.

Then the fog did descend,
and, in a blink of an eye, the wind was gone.
That is where  the wind's song did end,
but now the fog will tell it's  story from now on.

It told me of a story that takes place long ago,
about a baby boy who was born to grow into a great man.
He  affected many people in the time that he did grow,
But that is only where it all Began.

What makes it so wondrous is that it is true.
The baby boy was no other than Christ the Lord.
He is the one  that made people's life anew,
and because of this he is adored.

This is where the fog's story ended,
and this is where yours now begins.
I hope this, you have apprehend.
If you believe in Him, he will wash away all your sins.
