I Envision Her

I Envision Her

A Poem by Monday Parker

It’s been years and I still envision her

Often

Reflectively

Her memories rushing to the surface of my thoughts

It was like yesterday she was my girl-I was hers

I can remember so intimately -confidentially
The roundness of her hips.

Her guitar fingers and plush lips

The coolness of her skin

I remember the look in her eyes

The intensity she bestow on me

Such a small moment of our lives

Yet the impact she made

Here I am years past

Deep in recollection of her voice and kiss

Gaping at the memory of her face.

Remembering her taste.

Very ramantic and beautiful! Again the way you described the person in this poem is great. The reader can see her as they read! GREAT JOB!

Given the way I live (I'm a loner) It's hard for me to review anything concerning love, romance, sex and/or relationships; but as far as this poem goes, this one is, for lack of a better word, elegant. It's . . . romance with class, I guess, told in a breathless, effortless way.
