Honey Cinnamon

Honey Cinnamon

A Poem by Monday Parker
"

For Rob Riley

"

For days he strolled by my side

Reaching for my fingers

Nibbling the pinkness of

My flesh

Kissing my neck with his dark lips

Cooing how beautiful his eyes found me

Together from the fall of the sun

To the rise of the day

Sleepovers

Showers like summer camp

I slept with my head

On his chest

Pillow of muscle under

Soft honey cinnamon skin

Breathing sweet enchantment

Aloe from my essence

Love in his eyes

I loved this. This was a beautiful dedication. I especially enjoyed the below quoted lines (they are just so sensuous)

I slept with my head
On his chest
Pillow of muscle under
Soft honey cinnamon skin
Breathing sweet enchantment
Aloe from my essence
Love in his eyes
