I slept alone again last night...
And again the night comforted my weary soul.
I cried alone again last night...
And again my pillow provided the flood control.
I died a little again last night...
And again my heart endured and paid the toll.
Today's the day when I'll make it right

i have written many one line poems and have read many of them and this is no less brilliant because of its size. i liked it. it showed angst and need and was simple. poetry is amazing, so much feeling can be transferred in so few words if the reader connects to the feel of the poem.

The title and picture caught my eye at first, but I have to admit that the poem let me down a bit. I think that I have to agree with the other reviews here..it's more of an idea for poem than a poem. I believe you could make something great out of this if you decided to expand the idea.
