Mean Girl

Mean Girl

A Poem by Monday Parker

So… You choose sides.
And it was not mine.
You decided to create drama
To stir it up
I don’t think you were ready for the mess you made
You choose sides
Don’t look so shocked by my cold stare.
You and I are not friends
Not anymore
You might have noticed that your socially blocked.
Everywhere
Mean girl with your mean girl army.
I will raise above your backstab.
Your attempt to push me down.
You are miserable.
Its obvious
I can see it dribbling from your dull brown eyes.
You are unhappy to your core.
And it’s your fault
Mean girl.

Oh boy, are your words ever strong.
Hope you sent your words to her!!! Mean girls are everywhere.... Starting in school ... One has to learn how to not be affected by the way they are.
To stand tall ...
Not sure I would say your words are actually a poem but definitely the title pulled me in to read it.
I could feel your emotions...
These lines said it all You choose sides
Don’t look so shocked by my cold stare.
You and I are not friends

Good for you saying how you feel!!!
I wrote several poems when I was in my early 20's... you might like to read one of those... G. and CRY
are two I think you might relate to.

Really like it,
Lisa, now in Spain
