Dog MomA Poem by Monday Parker“Dog mom” she says proudly. Face to face with the sagging eyed, wrinkled faced, drooling fleabag. She plasters her disingenuous smile across Instagram. The only social media she participates in And lets everyone know “Oh, I’m NOT on Facebook.” As if people would miss her vacuous commentary. Stick to Instagram where personality doesn’t matter. And there she boosts herself. Wearing hipster hats that look as forced as her friendships.
Judging the happy people, she sees If blocking her was the resolution- I would never see her
again But unfortunately, it’s a harder feat. She saunters around the office building. Seeping toxicity around like her overly sweet French perfume
She speaks with a superior tone as if we are to feel graced
by her words. This haughty, stuck-up mean girl Her favorite past time is to spread drama. Snoop and spy Sabotage when the chances arise. She loves to bring up her past -So we see how far she has come. How much she has done with where she started. The problem is if she didn’t constantly speak about herself. No one would remember her- at least not pleasantly. Just that stuck-up mean girl who everyone hates. Everyone but her dog. © 2023 Monday ParkerFeatured Review
