Two Souls

I have life growing within me

DNA mixing together

To create a little person

Two souls within me

I have longed for this

My position has been clear

I wanted another baby….

The joy I felt of my first born

I needed to experience it again

The little flutter and kick of a

Fetus growing safe and healthy

The changes my body made to adapt

To carry this little soul

Amazed me

With my round hips and swollen breast

I never felt more beautiful

More like a woman not a girl

Today the realization is settling in

As I begin to feel the subtle waves of change

My body will prepare to be a Mother again. <3
