Seventy-Five Days

Seventy-Five Days

A Poem by Monday Parker

75 Days changed my life

Uprooted is not the word

More like replanted

A forest of opportunities

Seeds of hope

I cant believe how different today is

Than 75 days ago

My life is on a path

I have always dreamed of

I never thought it could be like this

When I first laid my eyes on him

He smirked at me

And I felt it then

The shift of the chapter change

The story grow

Our first seed was planted

That very first day

When our eyes met
