Jupiter

Jupiter

A Poem by Monday Parker

I feel like...life

And fate pulled us together

Unknowingly

Quickly crashing our planets into each other

Knocking both of us off our axes

Now with our worlds

Fully intertwined

We are working out the

Details

Connecting our continents

Into something we both

Can stand on

I am ready to adapt

Evolve

Mold myself into

A version of me

That will fit your every need

And still allow me to be me.

Only…It never seemed easier

The level of happiness you bring me

Is uncharted intergalactic vastness

I could flourish under your sunshine

You have brought out the very best in me.

And …This is just the beginning

I can only imagine

what is written in the stars for you and me.

I did believe in destiny. Took me 36 years, 40 countries and I found someone, who would accept me as-is. I enjoyed the honest tone and honest thoughts. Love isn't easy. We allow someone in and show real face. Thank you my friend for sharing the amazing poetry.
