Stirring Me Slowly

Stirring Me Slowly

A Poem by Monday Parker

I’m starting to float on your words

Your images arrest my thoughts

Wandering

I feel the sparkle of your lips

Of our passion

The heat in our kiss

Flaming

Storming my intelligence with your face

Striking sapphire

Tantalizing

Tempting precision

Shaking my soul

Like limber dogwood leafs

In April breeze

Observe how easy you stir me

In the whirlwind of your shadow

In the elegance of your poetic hands

Of your supple touch

In the glint of your eyes as you gaze over me

This is broken up very nicely. You keep it flowing enough to make it sound nice and short enough to make it re-readable. You also use very POETIC imagery which escapes most "poets" so that's also very good. I would say this is a very strong piece. I like it very much and will be "favorite-ing" it.

And you have stirred my emotions true...I love the sensual feel, and the subtle devouring of passion's overwhelming feel...this is a tasteful delight of diction displayed in a most tantalizing vision of love...

Fantastic Write!

This was a wonderful poem. The above quoted part brought a smile to my face. I had to say it out loud.

Beautiful.

Amazingly written. A great poem. The imagery was especially wonderful. I don't see how this poem could use any improvement. You manage to convey your feelings with this fantastic poem.
