Caught UnawareA Poem by Angelheaded HipsterButterfly flapping its wings...
The sun bounced off your distracted eyes, letting me see the caramel that makes your eyes seem almost transluscent
An honesty lives in those eyes and smile, and I caught it even if you were wandering looking at objects A,B, and C and no, not in that order, but I was paying attention none the less
Not like a stalker no, not like a predator, though, you do have a knack for making me feel as if I should make like a lioness hunched and ready in the savanna...
Im wandering around the lines, sidestepping the urges to speak between the lines instead keeping this,
what is this?
this thing, this... shenanigan.... going ever forward at the slow pace set in almost wet cement (isnt that poetic)
Im growing rather fond of watching it dry one day at a time. © 2010 Angelheaded HipsterReviews
