Flick

Flick

A Poem by Angelheaded Hipster
"

The butterfly is moving

"

The energy that

Im feeding on

surrounds me in warmth

like a heat bubble,

a protective shell

that lets the words

drip

splat

plot

onto the paper,

purging memories

from the soul

that need not

be there

This new life

being breathed into

a deflated will to move

is welcomed as a flower

welcomes a drop of rain

FLICK is full of energetic imagery.. And flows nicely...
I loved the image that drips from the passage "a protective shell
that lets the words .. drip, splat, plot onto the paper,
purging memories" ...and the ending is refreshing... Bravo!

Wonderfully written friend, love the almost claustrophobic feel that breathes at the end :) Poppy

A splash of poetry; bright, clean, delicately revealing; as delightful as the rainbow caste by every drop of rain.
