Prying Open of You

Prying Open of You

A Poem by Angelheaded Hipster
"

A collection of Veritas...

"

Cracking you open is like

prying open a walnut

with my bare hands.

It is possible, sure

but Jesus!

The hand is tired, fingers

shaken, but if the nut

inside is worth it,

the it is worth

the frustration,

the patience

it took to get there.

But we're not talking

about a walnut, are we?

No, we're speaking of something

much more--

dare I say, intimate?

The latin speaks it,

the pocket holds it,

and yes, good Sir,

I do cut thine eyes

at thee

There you go,

causing me to stray from

the course of this event,

the "prying open of you"

if you will...

So, I'll take the words

as I can, and know

you usually say yes

and I'll catch you

off your guard,

and you'll have no choice

but to answer.
