Overdose

too much?

Fading away into a dream

My mind has lost all concepts of reality

This drug just isn't enough to keep me high

"So I'll take you higher" I told myself

A broken reflection staring back at me

Sleepless eyes staring deep within my soul

Exploiting every flaw hidden from the world

"What's happening?" I whisper as my blood runs cold through my body

"You're dieing" I tell myself through a shattered mirror

Paralyzed now by my own device

I could never escape this pure ecstacy

So I'll take it to my grave tonight

These are my favorite lines. It perfectly describes the situation. And the last lines are so majestic, and very haunting. A rather sad poem, indeed. Good job.
