Reality Check

(does anybody ever read these?) lol

I'll make a suicide choice to die today

Shut my door, close the blinds, let my life fade

I can see the light shining through at the end of the tunnel

Got my eyes closed tight, trying not to breathe

Got the blade to my neck, cutting through slowly

It's the saddest thing when hope is gone for the day

 

I won't be home tonight

I'll make it through though, it's alright

No one would ever understand why I do the things I do

 

Got a slap from reality this morning

It told me my life would've been worth living

I could see my future pass right in front of me

A haunting page from a book called Misery

It's a shame I never read the happy ending

It's the saddest thing when patience is gone for the day

 

I won't be home tonight

I made it through to the other side

You'd never understand why I do the things I do

Can you be strong during those nights,

When I'm not lying by your side?

I don't think I'll be home ever again..

This is a sad poem. It's full of emotion and I really enjoyed it. I do find it a bit short but overall, I loved it. It was written beautifully :D

By the way, can you check out some of my stories? It's okay if you can't, but thank you for considering :) Unless you didn't >:( BUT I'm sure that you did cause if you didn't then I'd be mad and you don't want me to be mad now won't you?
