My love for you

Is like the red of a rose

Deepening with time

          To the blackness of one’s soul

Only to be reborn again

          With time

My love for you

          Will never end

For you will always

          Be my friend

The symbol of our love

          Is the love of the children

We will have raised

          Together

They shall be our tie

I really like this poem. It's short and sweet, which makes it so good. Sometimes you don't need to write pages and pages of words to get the same point across that you have here. Basically, sometimes the less that's said is better. And you choose you're words so well. I especially like the part where you write, "My Love for you / Will Never End / For you will always / Be my friend" Really beautiful word choice.
