I cried for you today

For the pain and confusion

          You must be feeling

I cried for us today

          For the love and the loss

          Through our insecurities

I cired for the missing trust

          For the lack of honesty

Today I also cried for me

 

I made a wish today

          To save our friendship

                   Not our love

I prayed to God today

          For patience

                   And understanding

I had a dream today

          The anger just melted away
