Dear Lord

There are times when I wonder

Is life really worth it

All the insecurities

Confusion…Treachery

Extreme highs…lows

Love…hate

Is it worth the struggles

 

My belief is we were given life

For as angels we were bored

Because of this we must now

Earn our way back into heaven

 

Deep in my soul I sincerely hope

Heaven is worth

The trials and tribulations

I must go through

To earn my way back home

 

Please God

          Don’t drain my strength

          And energy from me

          For I am only becoming more

          Disheartened and disillusioned

                             Amen
