A Poem by Momchil Atanasoff

Silence, stars,
Cigarettes, a drink,
An owl wondering the dark
of silent streets…
thoughts, spinning more and more
racing hard to reach the core

Does silence bring you solitude,
Or solitude present you silence?
How of peace is inner,
How much of it is not?

Being alone, but together,
In a crowd, but alone,
What makes you feel
….

The deeper you go
The less you’re certain
As it counts for reaching out
… Or maybe not?

What makes a person.
And what a lamb?
What does a person mean at all?
Virtues? Honours? Goals?
Is it just a chimera like mirage?
Or the fall of our ego’s will...
