the observation deck, if you will,

frantic activity below, none productive,

as some of mankind pretend

that it’s business as usual, and rant

about how stupid the other side is,

instead of facing a truth they don’t like,

it’s turn on their fellows; no solutions

to a crisis they helped create; blinders

easier than truth; the peril and the world
