Wasteland on T.V., both networks and politics Empy calories, empty heads, society’s sick
Downhill run gathering strength and speed, the older angry, the youth indifferent, urgent need
to pay attention; distracted voters scream and fiddle Hollowed out reality with a vacant middle
Live on the edges with no room for compromise, the old scream they’re smart while falling for lies
We’re watching a train wreck in living color, Choose your weapon, words or deeds, one and the other
