One Missing Letter!

Proofreading ineptitude!

 

Mortification is what I feel when rereading one of my posts the next day

And realizing somehow I missed it,

 

One missing letter that changes what I was trying to say

 

One missing letter doesn't seem like much,

 

But it's all people see when reading your post

 

Once you push 'send' it's a public record of your moronics

 

Not only changes the meaning but proves how inept you were

 

At proofreading and how much of a rush you were in to share

 

Your brilliance with the world!  Instead, the only thing

 

The world is thinking is, "what a knob!"

Michael, I try to proofread everythig I sent, yet I still make mistakes. We all make them from time to time. That's what happens when you write.

Thank you Marie, I know that mistakes happen, but when I posted this poem about proofreading, I made a mistake anyway, oh well!
