Fell Off a Spaceship

Fell Off a Spaceship

A Poem by Michael Stevens
"

Floating high above reality!

"

Floating in the silent void,

High above everything I used to know

Thought I was just going sight-seeing,

And I would come back and land in my comfort zone,

But I opened the wrong door, and here I am,

Apparently, no one noticed I was no longer on board

And now even the ship is gone, and I’m left out here,

With only the infinite darkness and endless nothingness

To keep a lonely eye on me

I fell off of a spaceship, high above reality!
