My ode to turning 50; 50!

Meat in the Blender!

 

 

Yesterday, I could chew saw blades and rocks;

 

today, I can’t even bend down to pull up my socks!

 

Yesterday, I could walk just fine;

 

today..., bad example, never mind!

 

Yesterday, I could think forever and a while;

 

today, I think I’m going suddenly senile!

 

You may be wondering, “What could change in just 1 day?

 

Well, it’s my 50th birthday is what I’ll say!

 

It’s meat in the blender from this day on

 

The bloom of my youth is most definitely gone!
