Summer

Summer

A Poem by Michael Stevens
"

The zenith!

"

Summer

Fierce rays beating down; relax and try to stay cool

Blinding reflections echo the good

Cool drinks as your mind turns inward

Craving shade, picnics on the lawn

Sun high overhead as at warms your soul

Time seems slower, the promise of the day fulfilled
