Take a minute to show me

A few of the things that brought me to You

Flash a flattering smile that compliments Your charm

Let me feel the beat of the music

The faint, yet unyeilding melody that runs in Your veins

Allow me to stare

So I might see how deep your eyes really are

Those colorful pools that hold a ray of light that could only belong to me

Surround me in stories of Your past

Show me that You have felt Pain, Sorrow, and Happiness

Reassure me of Your insight on time,

Where boundaries are seemingly pointless

I want to hear Your laugh ringing in my ears

Securing Harmony, Friendship and Love

I ache for that rush I was once so addicted to

For the sea of stars when I close my eyes

And the fresh air that fills my lungs when Your lips meet mine

I just need to look at You, to study You

Re-discover the rise and fall of Your skin

And become versed in Your scars and how You got them

Commiting to memory the way You taste, and the way You smell

Remind Me

Because I am restless, and I fear we will get lost in our lives
