My Reason

We can 
           Fight Love 
          Make Love
           Hate Love
   Even Love Love
           And spend our life trying to unearth Love
           To find Love

We can make Love the excuse, and the sacrifice                                                                                                            We can thank Love
    And accuse Love
We can make it a crime
               Even compose Love into melody and rhyme
               Just as long as We say Love and share Love

We can say it found us
                         Surprised us
                         Blindsided and punched us
            Left us down 
            But Love did not leave us Out

We are all too powerful
Because We have the ability 
                           To use Love
                         And give Love
           But too often 
           We abuse Love

                                        So, Love is the reason
                                               You can have 
                                                               Mine.

I "love" the way you can repeat a word so many times but each time it is used it feels fresh. There is a simplicity and clarity that is attractive in this poem as no word feels misplaced. Great job.
