A Poem by Molly Garnet

like a house of cards

so carefully designed

each card

every angle

vital as a heartbeat

this is how he built the sky

the blanket by which night and day

have fallen into a love so deep

each dies so the other may live.

like a tapestry

so prudently woven

each thread

every stitch

vital as sleep

this is how he built the earth

the stage for which the waterfalls

and the mountains

can act as mere glimpses

of the seamstress himself.

like a song

so perfectly written

each key

every note

vital as warmth

this is how he created man

the temple in which

each piece of himself

our souls, that is

is meant to live.

as the night loves the day,

as the mountains carry the waterfalls,

as he lives within man's heart,

so he loves us,

so he carries us,

and so we find our life in him.

I like the complete poem. I agree with your logic. I like the above lines. Life is stages. Things change, death comes and new life is born. A unstoppable flow of this world. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.
