Ruin

lots of mistakes a friendship that shouldve never been. yet another old poem

My mind is blank

I'm at a loss

I cannot think

Of what it cost

 

I drove him away

And made him run

When if he stayed

He might have come

 

To see the grace

And love been given him

But with my help

I let him ruin it

 

My hearts torn out

The wound wont heal

I'm dying from blood loss

And can't find my zeal

 

If from his hands

I never took

Or when he passed

Never looked.

 

If I had only

Left him alone

Perhaps as a person

He'd have grown.

 

But what I've done

I don't regret

 

It is what it is

I refuse to look back.
