Home coming

Home coming

A Poem by Never Good Bye

Dress picked out

Heels are on

Taking pictures

On the lawn

Smiles shinning

Bright as dawn

All to soon they

Will be gone.

Off to the dance

Each couple marches

Skipping through

The golden arches

One by one

They all go missing

Most of them are

Probably kissing.

"...or are they"

Speaks a mysterious voice,

"Are they gone

By their own choice?"

The deepest red

Now stains the hallway,

No one has left,

And its been a long day.
