Flying Ships

Flying Ships

A Poem by Never Good Bye
"

I <3 my imagination :)

"

Let’s take a trip

On a flying ship

And soar into the clouds

Hear the quiet sounds

In the air we’ll skip,

Lemonade we’ll sip,

Get chased by wild hounds,

And run with leaps and bounds.

We hope we do not slip

As we ride our flying ship.

thanks for the reviews. this was actually a poem i created for a poetry notebook at school. most my poems thus far have been. I really enjoy writting this kind of poetry -- carefree ryhmes about childhood nonsense. I hope that my writtings will devolope more as i continue to get reviews from my readers. i never expected to have anyone review these but my friends. im pleasently surprised. thanks again.

This sounds like a cry for sunny days and carefree times. I also look forward to sandals on my feet and the sand underneath.

This remind me of childhood poems with their quick witty rhymes and flowing and song-like rhythm. Is this what you are aiming for? I want to be getting the right idea. I really enjoyed it. Just one last question: Why the "ummmm..." as the description? Do not worry over it just keep writing. Thanks for sharing.
