A Space

A Space

A Poem by Mercedes
"

I feel that I have no where to go to be alone with my thoughts.

"

I want a space that is all my own.
Somewhere to keep my private thoughts,
Somewhere to hide the things that the mean the most to me,
Somewhere where I can be alone,
And somewhere I can just be myself.
All I want is a space all my own.
Where I don’t have to share a room,
Where I don’t have to worry about bothering someone else,
Where it will be only me and my thoughts.
I just want my own little space.
A tiny little nook,
Or a great big room.
Anywhere will work
So long as it is just my own little spot,
Just for me, away from the world.
