Snow

Snow

A Poem by Mercedes
"

Wishful thinking during the heat of summer.

"

Shivers down my back

A fog in front of my face

Cool breezes swirl and lift my hair about

Constant movement,

Constant chill

And then

Tiny flecks of cold

Dotting my skin

I open my eyes

Snowflakes everywhere!

It’s a perfect winter wonderland!

I close my eyes

To revel in it

But when I open them again,

The heat blazes,

And I realize,

I was only dreaming.

Great visual imagery... Snow" fits the snowflow like a glove..
I especially like this: Constant movement, Constant chill
And then Tiny flecks of cold Dotting my skin..
The bookend (three eye movements) is a great touch..
Dream on... Any snow in your forcast?
Thanks for sharing... It;s snowing here... (check out
