The Prophecy

The Prophecy

A Poem by moksha

The Prophet

One thousand glittering stars fall down-

To an ocean dark as night

The whole earth does a somersault-

That cancels out the light

The outer-atmosphere sucks in-

As black holes open wide

Our planet joins the other ones-

Waiting-

On the other side.

There is an inside-out-upside-down-topsy-turvyness to this writing. My favourite part was the earth doing a somersault.

It certainly left me with an impression of something happening, but it is so vast and unknowable I am not certain about it.
