I didn't say i belonged there

I didn't say i belonged there

A Poem by Mohl083
"

To honor the late Paul Newman, go see Nobody's Fool. It is a great film that has been forgotten, plus you see b***s and the lady who played Miss Daisy. Sadly, you do not see her b***s.

"

Will this take on meaning

Once I've walked away

and left it out in the sun

like a dried up dog t**d?

Who cares...

This never ending cycle,

we willingly pay for,

of putting our nuts in a bear trap

and repeatedly smashing it shut.

I should have joined up

with the Fed-Ex man

when he offered me freedom in high school,

Or joined that traveling circus

in order to bone toothless carnies

between bouts of syphilis.

in four years, i only learned

that i'm an unhappy sot,

and i don't see how another two

will clear anything up.

why the time wasted

scratching my fingernails

over plastic keys

would be well spent

stuffing my grocery store paycheck

into a stripper's thong.

"I have glimpsed our future,

and the only thing I can tell you is

Go Back."

I'll stop long enough

For my father to gut out

a condescending chuckle.
