putting off homeworkA Poem by Mohl083i'm dropping out of school to become a hoboi am nothing more than the forgotten lint in the bottom of God' pocket. i suck what few drops of milk i can from the galaxy. stars millions of years away capture the gaze of the men in white coats while their neighbor tugs constantly at his sleeve. we are faint imprints made on worn out vhs tape. our voices and image disappear more with each viewing until the strain snaps us apart forgotten to the digital crowd of chattering teeth and blinking eyes. oh, to float through the vacum chasing the shiny fish hook dangling before my eyes. one little nibble and into my jaw goes the "f**k you" i've been avoiding until now. © 2008 Mohl083 |
