out of place, back in timeA Poem by Mohl083not sure where this came fromyou never think time slips away that this is all part of one long orgasm. yet, then there's the christmas pictures and forgotten pairs of jeans in the bottom of the dresser to remind us how fat our a*s is getting. we always thought we'd get around to learning to play the guitar or whatever fantasy we subscribe to to make the days turn to night just a little bit quicker. these faces not noticing me hurt more than old friends i'd be happy never seeing again. time and death will never stop for me, and i have been a fool to belive so for this long. the dream is over, man. cast off the leather jacket of hope and feel the snuggness of the old woolen sweater of comformity. don't let these thoughts worry you too long, soon enough there will be babies spitting and shitting all over you to take your mind off it long enough to have a heart attack. © 2008 Mohl083 |
