Harrimans Other PlaceA Poem by Mohl083can you put guitar hero and beowulf in the same poem? yes, yes you can.
If you wanna know how to get there Go ask Old Zeke, sitting over yonder Fables and Myths state only one may know the way The key master who can pull forth The flaming sword from the gate of Our very own Charon who ushers lost souls To the meeting place of the damned. Demonic troubadours duel in the den. One saw the flames of Hades himself Bursting forth from their fingertips As each note bled into the night air. Trolls covet their sacks of gold Each perfectly minted coin Gilded with the blood of slain gnomes. Pappy tends the still out back Tinkering with the mixture Of mash and tears Trying in vain to quench the thirst of Pandemonium! Fill your golden chalice We’ll be drinking our own health As crooked crosses rise up from the dust. Fairies continue the dance of the night Seven dances in Seven different colored robes Fall at the feet of the crimson skeleton. Mount the beast’s paw over the doorway As we drown our sorrow again! © 2008 Mohl083 |
