written late Feb 2000; this piece was an epiphany to me; and completely changed my outlook on myself and my life.

psychotic threads of wind
blast through my open being
tearing asunder my sordid past
and leaving time to fly wounded in persuit
as i sift through the peices to build the self
that only i know lies within
