This one:
_ Hurry up! It’s high noon.
The other:
_ Ok, What’s the matter with you?
_ Nothing. What do you expect me to worry about?
_ What’s happened now? Why are you in such a hurry?
_ It’s high noon. Don’t you see?
_ I do see. You seem to be blind.
_ Ok, I’m blind but this is you who don’t see.
_ So what?
_ You repeat your first word.
_ I’m just walking, not repeating anything.
_ So walk on with longer strides.
_ We should get undressed before reaching there.
_ How come your brain worked?
_ It’s our habit to take off clothes beforehand.
_ I see. Well, where are we going to dive into water?
_ I think we should not go very far above.
_ For what reason?
_ Don’t you see it’s high noon and it’s dead empty of a soul around here.
_ It’s not important for what we want to do.
_ You’ve got crazy under this July Sun.
_ I must have been crazy, otherwise I didn’t come here with you.
_ Did I tell you to come?
_ Certainly. Who else did?
_ I told you to come in the afternoon.
_ I have something to do in the afternoon. I want to go somewhere.
_ If you said where, I would come with you.
_ Isn’t it good to put our cloths over there near that rock?
_ Yes it is.
_ That’s so.
_ No, it’s better to hide them under this stone.
_ Why so?
_ We’d better put them here neither to become hot in the sunlight nor to be taken.
_ Who’s going to take them?
_ A genie. I don’t know who’s there?
_ So shut your mouth up.
_ You shut up fool.
_ Don’t you think the water is high today?
_ I just understand it from the measuring pole.
_ The measuring pole? Do we have to go over there?
_ No. Who said so?
_ You did so?
_ I just said it’s easy to learn the depth of the water from the pole.
_ Well, you didn’t say where to dive.
_ We’ll dive from somewhere…by the way, where are you going to go in the afternoon?
_ Oh, in the afternoon…hide your shoes under this stone. Coming back, they’ll get awfully hot.
_ There’s enough water to wash them.
_ All around there’s much sand and soil. They’ll get muddy.
_ Ok, I want to go to a funeral service.
_ Whose is it? The guy drowned three days ago?
_ Exactly the same.
_ Did you know him personally?
_ Not personally. He was the guy who swam around here.
_ How do you know that?
_ My soles are burning. How far are you going to go upstream?
_ We can’t go up so much. It’s dangerous.
_ What danger?
_ Both for our lives and things.
_ How?
_ Someone might come and take our cloths…
_ That accounts for it.
_ Yeah, that does. Moreover, if we go upstream so much, we may get tired and then, you know, the funeral will be for us.
_ That’s so. You are afraid of that.
_ What else do you expect?
_ Did you know the guy?
_ Not much.
_ So how do you say at all?
_ He was the guy used to swim against the stream. Had you seen him?
_ I think I had. So you say he was that guy. Against the stream.
_ Exactly.
_ Hurry up!
_ How far do you go upward?
_ You see the buffaloes there?
_ On the other side?
_ Yeah, dear buffalo.
_ I think that’s too much.
_ You needn’t think too much. I’m with you. Any way can you think at all under this burning sun?
_ Something like that.
_ So he thinks!
_ My feet are burning. Let’s jump into water just over here.
_ Don’t you think here it’s too high?
_ Yeah, it seems so.
_ But why did he swim against the stream?
_ I don’t know. Maybe that was something. But it seems to me he was somehow out of his mind.
_ You know I think he was a great mind.
_ What about swimmer? Was he a great one?
_ He must have been a good one otherwise he couldn’t have swum against the stream.
_ Of course he met the consequences. That’s it we are going to go to his funeral service.
_ Are you going to go too?
_ Yes I want to see how many people are going to come to a man’s funeral who swam against the Karoon.
_ It’s not an interesting thing to do. Damn it! This bloodsucker flies.
_ Hurry up! We are reaching to the buffaloes.
_ My feet are burning and nothing can help.
_ Just hurry up. Now we’ll swim.
_ Yeah, we’ll do a really cool swim when we reach the buffaloes.
_ Don’t you swim against the stream?
_ No way. My mind works properly yet.
_ But you said he was a mind.
_ Well, that must have been something.
_ For example?
_ It needs much more power.
_ That is something.
_ Here it’s good to jump.
_ Yes it’s fine.
_ So jump.
_ You jump first.
_ Come on. My feet are blistering. You jump first.
_ Let’s do together. We count and jump.
_ One, two, three.
_ Why didn’t you jump? My feet are burning.
_ You didn’t jump. We shall count again.
