Reverie

Reverie

A Poem by modesty blaise

I could walk forever in this barren December

The soft sound of snow helps me remember

The way I looked for you in my dream

Seeking you under the moonlight gleam

I roamed every illuminated winding street

The tranquil night echoed my heart beat

Stooped lamp posts casted shadows on the wall

Of some belated old lady covered in her shawl

How warm inside I felt imagining you

Then realms of illusion dissolved and I felt blue.

Nice job.
This poem has good flow, and a gentle lilt to it, which is easy to read and get lost in.
