TBAA Poem by Christopher Michael Smith...I wish that I could tell you. You'd remember you're mine. Eyes fixated. Stuck in time. Such lovely poems. Such lovely rhymes. Surely we've loved. Many longs before. In different lands. Different scores. Always you and I. Tangled like thread. Always you and I. Strewn upon a star-lit bed. Constant tossing through times. Mixed to stain these blurred lines. You and I. Writing these poetic crimes. Time's spent apart there's a magnetic pull. Celestial events whirling in a pool. Cosmic displays for all to see. Twisting within a Universe chopped full of debris. Ancient hearts making a beat. Returning memories in the rhythms of sleep. In my dreams we wade. Upon the canopy clouds of the Milky Way. Galaxies underneath our weightless feet. Tiptoeing upon the stars as we lie fast asleep. Now seeing that you are within my arm's reach. Warms the heart & silences my speech. Soon you'll remember and soon you'll see. The pasts we've shared were never about me. The countless lives, the meet and greets. A soulful love & it's the sweetest of sweets. Yet still it hurts nonetheless. Each life we must die but we do our best. Outshine deaths with no tell of regrets. The moments we shared truest of blessed. At longs last. Here again, we are. As the cycles repeat. Remember. We are who we are...
