One last toke, one last relationship, one last smoke… of youA Poem by The0sA poemWe, it, I, you: Twirling Elegantly Fluent and original Patterns Rings and hearts Taking over Shivers down spine Embrace me now Inhale matter Burn away form A mighty steed To attack at dawn My burning hope My burning solution My burning addiction Our burnt relationship
A change of tempo since you left as it was all cosy till you started being nosey Now it’s s**t isn’t it, ‘b***h’, because you’ve seen me with one train track stitch So past the edge I’m a dot on your radar, so cast me as the next Darth Vader. So… not a rebel "with the rebel alliance" geek, skater, stoner, alcoholic Nothing about me is straight line stereophonic So I sip and I smoke "you provoke" clinging on like a blood starved tick To some un-fertilised manure: a living, breathing, pile of s**t The way I feel, dismissed like a catherine wheel: a lighted minute, on display…
Then gone like the sparks, to lie in dismay. Now tell it like it’s all still wrong: then it’ll always be alright One is just a number here, staying up getting wasted all night Well that spins on for all my life, but then it’ll always be alright… Alright?
My thoughts may be abstract. My smiles are now faked… Fake! You’re gone… music replaces the pumping through my veins, no hell for heaven’s sake Another day I wish to take, away… without you, the music dies and I with it The world with me Lost: in another fantasy. Or maybe just, my reaction… from a once perfect, fatal attraction
