hypernova

hypernova

A Poem by aspen

I am a star,
drifting aimlessly through the galaxies

trying to move feels like I'm deep beneath the ocean,
sinking faster and faster

I've been spinning with no orbit for years now

recently there's a magnetic pull that's been luring me in to a place I've never seen

I've been coated with blankets of nebula,
my skin sparkles with its star dust

I've bypassed celestial clusters and dipped my heart into the northern lights

I found a dark star straying away from the main currency,

for a while we just drifted along side each other,
slowly being pulled in as if we were magnetic

we began orbiting around each other,
our hearts made of magnesium

they got so close to me

suddenly colliding violently,
the cores of our figures swallowed each other whole and exploded into the galaxy

then there was a flash of light and we became whole

paradise is inside of us, burning brighter than the sun

our dark and light energy twist into each other,
emitting a hybrid energy as strong as a hypernova

we are the gods now,
our love is for infinity

I sweet story about love. I enjoyed the use of space and the creation of the cosmos as a way to decribe two people falling in love. The explosion of passion the new life created with the partnership. Very creative and beatiful
