Basketball Band

Basketball Band

A Poem by Larry

Shiny Shiny Toaster
The heated bread roaster
Just a utility to most
But it is actually a host
to a variety of flavor
Can you do me a favor?
Pass me the butter
Made from the udder of a mother who’s been smothered by others
Slice it thick, spread it thin
Uh Oh, It’s burnt, better throw it in the garbage bin
Guess I’ll grab another slice
No french-toast, no spice
Sourdough, real nice
Maybe even some Vegemite
Oh man, another loss for the Knights
54 to 65, good bye and good night
